SERVICE POLICIES

Terms of Service

The rules for your MineHost account, server and subscription.

Service policyEffective 2 October 2026
OUR POLICIESTerms of ServicePrivacy PolicyService Level AgreementFair Use Policy

1. Service and contact

MineHost.mk provides Minecraft hosting in Limburg, Germany. Manage orders and support through dash.minehost.mk and servers through panel.minehost.mk. Contact support using a dashboard ticket or Discord ticket.

These terms apply to free and paid hosting. Review the plan and the final order details in the dashboard before confirming a purchase. The website calculator does not itself create a server or submit an order.

2. Accounts and permitted use

Provide accurate account details, protect your login and only upload content you are authorised to use. You are responsible for your account, subusers, worlds, plugins and mods. You must be legally able to enter the agreement or have the required involvement of a parent or guardian.

Hosting is for legitimate Minecraft servers. Malware, phishing, spam, DDoS attacks, unauthorised access, cryptocurrency mining, unlawful content and unrelated file storage are prohibited. Do not evade resource limits or interfere with other customers. Follow the applicable Minecraft and third-party software licensing rules.

3. Resources and pricing

Free hosting includes 4 GB RAM, 2 CPU cores and 10 GB disk. Request up to 20 GB total disk through a support ticket; an increase requires approval. Free hosting receives low-priority support and operates on a best-effort basis.

Pricing varies by server location. Paid hosting in Limburg, Germany costs €0.80 per GB of RAM per month, with unlimited CPU cores and unlimited disk subject to fair use. “Unlimited CPU cores” means no fixed per-plan core cap, not a dedicated processor or infinite compute. Hardware resources are shared. RAM allocation does not guarantee a player count, tick rate or latency.

The dashboard displays the final amount, applicable taxes, payment method and any renewal authorisation before payment. Monthly billing does not by itself authorise an undisclosed automatic payment.

4. Cancellation and 48-hour refunds

You may request a refund within 48 hours of payment, no questions asked, by opening a dashboard ticket or Discord ticket. Include the order or payment reference so the transaction can be identified.

To cancel a subscription or stop future renewal, use the dashboard or submit a ticket. Any legal cancellation, withdrawal, refund or other consumer rights remain unaffected by this additional 48-hour policy.

5. Free-server timer and expiry

When you start a free server, a 24-hour timer begins. Press the Renew button in the panel before the timer reaches zero to reset it to 24 hours. If the timer expires, the server is suspended and a 30-day recovery period begins. Press Renew within that period to unsuspend the server.

If a suspended server is not renewed within 30 days, the server and its data are permanently deleted. There is no archive or additional recovery period. Keep your own copies of important worlds and files.

6. Backups and server data

Paid servers include three manual backup slots. Backups are not automatic: you must create and manage them. Keep independent copies of important files and export your data before cancelling a service.

You retain your rights to server content. Staff may access relevant files when needed for requested support, storage reviews, security or abuse investigations. See the Privacy Policy.

7. Availability and support

Paid hosting has a 99.99% monthly availability commitment as described in the SLA. Free hosting is best effort. Support is provided through dashboard and Discord tickets; no fixed response time is promised.

DDoS protection is provided by OVHcloud’s network. The advertised global filtering capacity describes shared provider infrastructure, not guaranteed capacity dedicated to one server.

8. Suspension, changes and legal rights

Accounts or services may be restricted for abuse, non-payment, security incidents or legal obligations. Contact support to request review of a restriction. Free-server inactivity retention follows section 5.

Policy changes are identified by the updated date. Material changes affecting an existing service will be communicated through service communications. Nothing here excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded. MineHost.mk is not affiliated with Mojang or Microsoft.
